About Us
Why do we do what we do?
Because we are tired of seeing loved ones lose!
Have you ever known of a situation, where people have lost the inheritance left to them by a loved one? Sometimes there may have even been a will. Items lost could range from a house, a car, access to a bank account, or a treasured family heirloom and you wondered “How could this have happened? “
I used to wonder the same thing, but after 20-plus years in the document preparation business, here is what I’ve discovered. Most of the time it is due to one or more of the following reasons:

Wills
Why EVERYONE should have one!
A will provides for the distribution of certain property owned by you at the time of your death, and generally, you may dispose of such property in any manner you choose.. It can also designate a guardian for minor children, and name an executor for your estate, among other things (American Bar Association)
Advanced Directives & POA’s
Who will make decisions on your behalf if you can’t?
Advance directives are legal documents that provide instructions for medical care and only go into effect if you cannot communicate your own wishes. The two most common advance directives for health care are the living will and the durable power of attorney for health care. There are also Power of Attorney Documents POA) that allow a designated representative to handle your personal and financial affairs. (National Institute of Aging)
Trusts
Are NOT just for the wealthy!
Trusts are legal arrangements that can provide incredible flexibility for the ownership of certain assets, thereby enabling you and your heirs to achieve a number of significant personal goals that cannot be achieved otherwise. Trusts are not only for the wealthy. Many young parents with limited assets choose to create trusts (American Bar Association)
NON Attorney Probate
An Attorney isn’t always necessary
Probate is the legal process through which a deceased person's estate is properly distributed to heirs and designated beneficiaries and any debt owed to creditors is paid. The court oversees the process to ensure that the estate is properly administered.
Florida Probate Rule 5.030(a) requires that a personal representative in a formal administration of an estate must be represented by an attorney. For other proceedings that do not require formal administration, such as summary administration, disposition of personal property without administration, or disposition without administration in small estates, you are not required to be represented by an attorney.
